The Pitch Workshop
What makes a great story idea? What makes a great pitch? Sending your story ideas to newspapers, magazines, and digital publications is a process that's full of unwritten rules. In this two-hour workshop, we'll uncover all of them and more, including:

-
What your pitch must include, and what to leave out
-
How long to make your pitch
-
Who to send your pitch to, and whether or not to follow up
-
What makes a great story idea, and how to come up with them
-
Standard do’s and don’ts, like whether or not to submit to multiple publications at once
You’ll leave with a strong understanding of how to write and send a great pitch, as well as a list of publications and how to pitch them. $89

FAQs
Do I need to have an idea for a pitch to attend the class?
Nope! We will learn how to generate ideas in class.
Do I need to have work published already/is this class for beginners?
You don’t need to have any work published, and this class is great for writers of all stages. Learning how to pitch is an essential element of every writer’s toolbox, and there’s a dearth of information about it. That’s why I created this workshop.
Will the class be recorded?
All attendees will receive a recording of the class.
